286 PRODUCTIONS is a female-run, artist-first production company championing bold, resonant storytelling through female perspectives while cultivating creative community. Founded by Writer/Director Carley Lovito, 286 has lead works including the world premiere of Clifford Odets' The Nursery, The award winning film ‘Everything I Never Told You' and up and coming films including ‘Can't You See I'm Trying', ‘Holy Water', ‘Peach Fuzz' and ‘It Girl'.

Flowering Dogwood Productions

FLOWERING DOGWOOD PRODUCTIONS is a female-led, queer-focused production company based in New York City and Virginia that is dedicated to creating and supporting Southern narratives. Founded by writer/director Grace Walters, Flowering Dogwood recently earned recognition for its upcoming feature ‘Summer in Lovettsville’ as the screenplay was nominated for the LA Independent Women Film Awards and received silver from the LGBTQ Unbordered International Film Festival.

RISE STUDIOS is the production branch of RISE FLIX that handles the distribution company’s production services from sourcing financing, to leveraging partnerships with rental houses for equipment, to building cost-effective professional crews from their filmmaker network, to sourcing name talent through their industry network of talent representatives and casting directors. They produce narrative films, short proof-of-concepts, and feature films.

FROM THE HEART PRODUCTIONS

FROM THE HEART PRODUCTIONS is a non-profit dedicated to helping independent filmmakers with unique films that make a contribution to society. Recognizing that it only takes a few minutes of screen time to change hearts, spark movements, or shift perspectives, From the Heart Productions supports filmmakers by offering fiscal sponsorship, grants, and intentional filmmaking classes. There is a great need in the film industry to help the least funded, most dedicated, passionate and determined group of filmmakers in our business— the independent filmmaker—and From the Heart Productions does just that.

Camera

Covers the rental and maintenance of our shooting camera, lenses, and essential accessories needed to achieve the visual language of the film. This ensures high-quality image capture that supports the project’s aesthetic and technical goals.

Crew

Allocates funds for key production personnel, including the director of photography, sound mixer, and more. Compensating crew fairly supports a professional working environment and ensures efficiency on set.

Art Department

Supports production design needs such as set dressing, props, and visual details that establish the film’s world. These elements are essential for conveying tone, character, and narrative authenticity—especially in a period piece.

Equipment

Includes lighting, sound, and other rentals required for a safe and effective production. Proper equipment allows the crew to work efficiently while maintaining consistent visual and audio quality.

Post Production

Covers editing, sound design, color correction, and final mastering. This stage shapes the raw footage into a cohesive finished film and is critical to the project’s overall impact.

Producers

Provides compensation for the producers from our attched production companies who oversee the project, managing logistics, budgeting, scheduling, and overall coordination to ensure that the film stays on track creatively and financially.

Food/Transport

Accounts for meals, craft services, and transportation for cast and crew during production. These essentials maintain morale, energy, and punctuality on set.

Contingency

Reserved for unexpected expenses or production challenges. This buffer helps keep the project on schedule and prevents unforeseen costs from disrupting completion.
